Situated on 160 acres you can cross country ski or snow shoe right out your front door. The area is wonderful year round. In the summer hike on different trails every day or bicycle to your heart's content. Easy access to Pacific Crest Trail and many other marked trails. Beautiful wild flowers, streams, and sunny, blue skies most days. Close by is Howard Prairie Lake with boating and swimming in clear mountain water. Wonderful views of Mount McLoughlin throughout the area. Lily Glen Horse Camp close by with many riding trails. Just 20 miles down the road is Ashland where the Shakespeare Festival has numerous productions indoors and outdoors from February through November. Just a few miles further is the Britt Festival in Jacksonville with world renowned artists. Numerous other theaters in the area, some year round. Many good restaurants in Ashland, and some special ones in the mountains. Wildlife abounds: eagles, coyotes, badgers, elk, deer, etc.Or you might select to settle in for dinner by candlelight and a roaring fire in the log cabin. When it is 100 degrees in the valley, it is still comfortable on the mountain. And the winter temperatures are mild, making it great fun to be outdoors.
